Custom Scratchboards!
Our new (and very awesome) friend, Mondae, has generously offered to sell some custom scratchboards for an amazingly low price of $10. And all profits will go towards KosaiKon!
"basically with a scratchboard, i etch scenes and designs into a black board and the designs are multicoloured, i have a few samples if anyone is interested, they can email me privately ( mondae ) and I'll send samples and we can discuss what i can and cannot do."
KosaiKon sale!
I have decided that the eBay auction was not the way to go to properly raise funds for the convention. Instead, I am personally offering each item for sale individually. Below is a list of all items I have. Simply email me at cassie telling me what item you are interested in and we can discuss the terms for sale.
two 2002 Di Gi Charat calendars
about 7 promo posters for the I'm Gonna Be An Angel DVD
about 7 promo posters for the FLCL DVD
a lot of Galaxy Angel posters (around 20 or so)
one book: Hayao Miyazaki - Master of Animation
one DVD: Hyper Police volume 1
I don't know if people would be interested in these things, but I have these as well:
Homemade Shrinky Dink figures of all the Sailor Moon senshi in human forms plus Chibi Chibi and Chibi Usa
6 und packs of Medieval: Total War (online video game) promo trading cards (usually contains cards like Joan of Arc, Richard I and The Black Death) - cards also available separately
First eBay auction!
Our first eBay auction is now live! The first item up for bid is a 2002 Di Gi Charat calendar, still in it's bag, in perfect condition. The URL for the auction is: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=723370052. May the highest bidder win!
Kosai Auctions!
Starting next week, KosaiKon will be holding weekly auctions at the Yahoo! site. Every week, one item will be auctione. The items vary from a Di Gi Charat calendar to a book about Hayao Miyazaki to DVDs and more! If you wish to donate an item for the auction, please email me at cassie for details.
KosaiKon 2003 cancelled
I'm sorry to announce that we have decided to postpone KosaiKon until 2004. Unfortunately, there were problems with the hotel and the contract. So we are going to regroup, possibly make some changes and take the extra time to make this even better than originally planned.
So, here's to making 2004 happen! Both the PayPal account and the Official Store will stayto take donations. (And since the 2003 convention has been cancelled the 2003 merchandise that is currently in the shop will be very rare!) If you would prefer to mail a check or money order instead, email me and I will give you instructions on how to do that.
Also, the forums and the Yahoo! mailing list will stayas well. Feel free to join one or both to stay up with the absolute latest information!
btw- Contact info:
If you all want to contact us, Cass' posts have her email address below them. You can reach me at: sidhe or shilarva
I just realized that Booty didn't actually have a link to my email in there.
Also, we should be updating the faqs and such ASAP. We are at work currently, and its a bit hard for Cass to give me the documents without her being on that machine. (I really gotta get XP on her home system for remote desktop usage....)
Help Save Kosai!
We need your help to get Kosai actually going folks! We had some issues with the Radisson originally, trying to get the space...and now it suddenly jumped in our laps as to meeting the costs needed. We had a bunch of people willing to help originally, and that dried up too...
I posted this info over at the Kosaikon forums as well. Any donations are going directly to the funding, and as I stated in the link, we are willing to even work out on how things are handled with the donations. (refunds on registration costs, refunds on cancelation, etc.) Just go on over and check out how you can help, or click the donation button above!
Space has been acquired!
Yes, I know we still need to update the appropriate parts of the site since this is spanking new information. KosaiKon will be held May 31 - June 1, 2003 at the Radisson in Valley Forge, PA. More information, as well as room pricing, will be announced next week.
And the shop gets bigger
A slew of new items has been added to the KosaiKon store. Go forth loyal shop-aholics!

Welcome to the Kosaikon Website!
As you can tell, we are just getting the site off the ground. Much props to Booty for putting together the code base/design for the site, as well as Kattikawn for some of the images used here! (Including the girl at the top of the page.)
We don't have much news yet, as the convention center has been lax in getting the paper work to us to fill out....but when we have news we shall let you all know!
Keep checking this page, or visit our forums for more info....
Coming soon: Links for donations, pricing info, offical link to forums and much more!
